Seabrooke's Theatre is proud to announce that Love Sex Fleas God (Confessions of a Stay-at-Home Dad), starring the popular Cape Town-based actor David Muller, arrives fresh and fit to start its two-week premiere run in Durban on Wednesday 14 September. This follows the production’s world premiere season in Cape Town from the end of August.

Directed by Celia Musikanth, Love Sex Fleas God is more than just the confessions of a stay-at-home father. David Muller (playing Bruce) in his and Musikanth's adaptation of Bruce Clark's book of the same title, traces Bruce's life from childhood to fatherhood. It's a journey from the stranglehold of a cult upbringing, to freedom and self-discovery which is frequently punctuated with comic and witty moments.

In this engaging one-man show, Muller morphs from one role to the next, as the audience witnesses a transcendence from a down-and-out abused teenager to a loving father of two children. As the story unfolds, the versatile Cape Town actor also essays the protagonist’s grandmother and mother, as Bruce’s insightful supportive wife allows him to be far more than just a stay-at-home dad.  The metamorphosis from an insecure and angry young man to proud father is inspirational and makes for absorbing theatre.

Love Sex Fleas God, (Confessions of a Stay-at-Home Father) opens at Seabrooke’s Theatre on the Durban High School campus in Musgrave on 14 September at 7pm, and runs till Saturday 24 September.  Tickets are R100 (R70 students and pensioners). Bulk booking special reserve 10 only pay for 8. Bookings are through Ailsa Windsor of Going Places on 031-201 2831 or 083 250 2690, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Winnie the Pooh

The beloved characters of AA Milne’s ‘Winnie the Pooh’ stories have delighted and amused children for generations. The cuddly toys that make up the menagerie of young Christopher Robin continue to enchant and captivate and the stories have lost none of their lustre in the telling and retelling. Disneyfied, the characters of Pooh Bear, his friends Piglet, Rabbit, Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, Kanga and little Roo revert to stage magic in Kickstart’s current production of ‘Winnie the Pooh’ at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre (UKZN, Howard College Campus, Durban)
